Banners lighten city core

Look uneven Dunlop Street between now and July 13, and get ready for more than 80 lively jolts of vinyl banner art. Lampposts have never been so exclusively ornamented with the actually works of promising young artists. More than 40 vinyl banners tremble from the heights. Every sports two images, one on each side.

Sharing Spaces is involving, bracing and very attractive with its eclectic imagery, themes and other styles. The banners are tinted by youths aged 14-24, who took part in the TGIF drop-in program Fridays after school.
